Jee Kim ( Jee Seon Kim )
Jee has been drawing and painting since the age of five and creating beauty has been her passion throughout. Jee's work has been recognized by both professional and educational organizations in the United States and South Korea.
As a jewelry designer, Jee's work has been featured in W magazine ( Korea ) and several different TV shows. She has designed jewelry for collectors , which include Korean Actress 'Son Yeh Jin', 'Kim Ji Young' and 'Lee Boh Hee'.
As an artist, she had many art exhibitions in Manhattan, San Francisco and South Korea including Asian Art Museum action show in SF, The Visiting Artist Exhibition at Samsung Art Institute.
As a fashion designer, Jee worked as a Tommy Hilfiger Women’s Loungewear designer. Her clothing design have been featured and sold at various stores, including Nordstrom and Urban Outffiters.
Jee's professional studies have included Seoul Fine Arts School: Drawing & Painting Major, University of Hartford: Fine Arts, Gemological Institute of America (GIA): Jewelry Design Certification, LECOLE Van Cleef & Arpels: Recognize the Gemstones Certifications, Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT): Associate Degree of Fine Arts (AAS) , Bachelor Degree of Fabric Styling (BFA), Economics, Fashion Study and History of Art(Minor).
She also has been nominated to Yale Summer School of Art ( Norfolk ) while she was attending University of Hartford.
Jee currently works as a designer for fashion and jewelry in Manhattan.
